Masicka is stepping up for Jamaica during a critical time of need. Through his charitable arm, the MADE Foundation, the dancehall artist has launched Phase One of a major relief effort to support communities impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
The Foundation has identified St. Elizabeth as one of the first parishes to receive assistance. After consulting with representatives from Member of Parliament Floyd Green’s office, Masicka and his team assessed the most urgent needs and immediately mobilized to deliver essential supplies and materials, including food, building materials, steel, and cement.
As part of their ongoing partnership, Red Stripe has joined forces with the MADE Foundation to support the mission of bringing aid and hope to affected communities. Longtime friend and producer Mario Dunwell has also pledged his support, joining efforts to help rebuild homes and restore hope for families across the region.
“Jamaica is home, and Out of Many, We Are One,” said Masicka. “Through the MADE Foundation, we’re committed to helping rebuild communities and stand united as a people during this time of need.”
The MADE Foundation will continue to assess additional parishes and expand its outreach as part of an ongoing national effort to bring relief and recovery to those affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Founded by Masicka, the MADE Foundation aims to empower and uplift communities through education, youth mentorship, and crisis support. Its mission is to inspire growth, provide opportunities, and create lasting change throughout Jamaica and the Caribbean.
