Several taxi operators in Ocho Rios, St. Ann are expressing dissatisfaction with the poor condition of the transport centre, among other issues.
The taxi operators say they are unable to use the transport centre because of the bad state it’s in.
Some say the facility lacks the necessary bathroom facilities, seats and shelter.
The distance from the town is also an issue for commuters.
Some have raised concern that their licences do not allow them to set down vulnerable commuters, such as elderly persons closer to their destination.
