International Reggae Day 2024 will celebrate Riddims and Resistance spanning thirty years

Reggae fans across the globe are guaranteed a series of wholesome events marking the celebration of International Reggae Day 2024 come Monday July 1.

International Reggae Day will this year pay homage to thirty years of “Riddims and Resistance” in recognition of the thirtieth anniversary of Reggae Day as well as the thirtieth anniversary since the end of apartheid in South Africa.

International Reggae Day founder Andrea Davis says the spotlight will be on the past three decades of the brand that has helped to promote Jamaican music culture and its global impact.

Launched in 1994 in Kingston, International Reggae Day seeks to connect Reggae lovers across the globe in its annual celebration of the best of Jamaica’s creative industries and its offspring.
