Serial rapist Davian Bryan was sentenced to 23 years imprisonment, when he appeared before the St.Thomas Circuit Court on Wednesday.
This after he pleaded guilty to 5 counts of Rape, 1 count of Grievous Sexual Assault, 3 counts of Forcible Abduction and 3 counts of Indecent Sexual Assault.
An order was made for his name to be entered in the Sex Offenders Registry.
Bryan will serve 16 years before being eligible for parole.
The court was told that in 2021, Bryan abducted two girls, aged 9 and 13 years, from Bath in St.Thomas.
Following extensive searches, the girls were found.
The incidents sparked public outrage and anxiety, as Bryan eluded the police for several months, before being caught.
A third girl, aged 16 years, was also abducted, but details of this case have not been released.
Bryan was held in Portland last March, after he reportedly abducted a second woman in that parish.
The first known case relates to the sexual assault of another Portland woman, for which he was in court, when he was sent to St.Thomas on condition of bail.
Bryan, who is from Norwich in Portland, is to appear in the Portland Circuit Court in July in relation to several sexual assault charges, for offences committed in Portland.
