Jamaica’s Under 20 men’s football delegation are all set to leave the island next week for the Concacaf Under 20 Championship in Honduras.
The squad to be led by coach Marcel Gayle includes; national senior team invitees Devonte Campbell, Tarick Ximines and Christopher Pearson.
It also includes 10 overseas based players headed by Zion Scarlett, Jahmari Clarke, Chad James Tyler Roberts, Kobi Thomas, Dexter Lembikisa, Jadon Anderson, Alexander Bicknell, Luke Bailey, Badley-Morgan and Coniah Boyce-Clarke.
Completing the squad are local based Ricardo Watson, Lamonth Rochester, Luis Watson, Malachi Douglas, Duncan Mckenzie, Romain Blake and Jemone Barclay.
The Jamaicans are drawn in group H’ and will open their account Costa Rica on June 18, before hosting Honduras on June 20, before closing out their preliminary round against Antigua and Barbuda on June 22.
Following the group stage, the top three teams in each of the groups will advance to the round of 16, joining the four qualifiers from last year.
The 16 team knockout stage will run from June 25-26, followed by the quarterfinals on June 29, with the semifinals set for July 1 and the grand finale on July 3.
