A school for registered nurses is one of several areas of investment being touted to prospective investors in Jamaica.
This, as dozens of potential investors from at least 50 countries have gathered at the Montego-bay Convention Centre for the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce’s Invest Jamaica 2022 business conference.
The two day event has over 600 registered participants.
Speaking at day one of the summit, Portfolio Minister Aubyn Hill, noted that Jamaican nurses are highly sought after and instead of viewing this as a problem, the country needs to see it as an opportunity.
Senator Hill further pointed to opportunities in the agriculture and tourism sectors.
