INDECOM probing fatal shooting of fifteen-year-old boy by police last night

A fifteen-year-old boy who was shot by police during an operation on Water Lane in Kingston, last night (August 24) has died.

 

He has been identified as Narando Boothe.

 

Reports from the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) are that the incident occurred in the vicinity of the Water Lane bus park at approximately 10:30 PM.

 

Deputy Commissioner at INDECOM, Hamish Campbell told IRIE FM news that the police have stated that three officers were on mobile patrol when they were fired on by four men.
