The two-month-old infant trapped in a collapsed house in Bowden Hill St Andrew this morning has died.

Firefighters and residents launched a search and rescue for the child after the house collapsed in a landslide around 6: 15 A.M.

Head of the St. Andrew North Police, Superintendent Sherika Service told IRIE FM news that the baby girl was found unresponsive and taken to hospital, but did not make it.

She explained that the mother and her deceased child’s twin were also inside the house but were able to make it out.
