Hosting Alkaline’s New Rules in Trelawny not just personal but strategic – Publicist Rickardo Shuzzr

The decision to host Dancehall artiste Alkaline’s signature live event, New Rules in Trelawny, is not just personal but strategic.

Over the years, Kingston has been the home of the New Rules Festival, but after a three-year hiatus, the organisers are making a shift to the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium on July 5.

During the event’s media launch last evening, Alkaline’s publicist and New Rules Communications Manager, Rickardo Shuzzr told IRIE FM that while Trelawny represents the artiste’s hometown, the move will also accommodate a broader audience.

Shuzzr said that with such high anticipation for this year’s staging, patrons should purchase tickets early while stocks last.

Tickets for the show have been on sale since March 7.
