The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM is probing the fatal shooting of a man along Mason Drive in Lawrence Tavern, St. Andrew, this morning.

Dead is 41-year-old shop operator and roof repair tradesman, Andrew Richards.

Reports are that Richards was shot and killed during an alleged confrontation with police officers.

INDECOM says its team visited the scene and will be retrieving and processing the weapons of the concerned officers.

The concerned officers are also to be interviewed by INDECOM.
