Wray & Nephew pumps $200 million into School of Football

A grand total of $200 million will be pumped into the Jamaican football program by J Wray and Nephew over the next three years.

The announcement came at a grand reception at the company’s corporate offices in New Kingston where it was revealed that the company will also be the official spirit for the national senior men’s and women’s teams in their quest to qualify for both the FIFA Men’s and Women’s World Cups.

J Wray and Nephew in partnership with local governing body the will also establish the Wray & Nephew School of Football which will be be guided by a curriculum that will train and certify 500 Jamaican coaches annually.

Spanning from D to A Concacaf coaching licenses, the initiative will also involve the physical renovation of the Captain Horace Burrell Center of Excellence and sponsoring the Drewsland Mini Stadium and Ferdie Neita Park.
