West Indies off-spinner Karishma Ramharack named in ICC Women’s T/20 World Cup team
West Indies and Trinidad and Tobago off-spinner Karishma Ramharack has been named in the ICC Women’s T/20 World Cup team of the tournament.
This follows her impressive economy rate of 10…….. and her five wickets across three games which includes best figures of 2 for 14 against India.
Four players from the victorious Australian team are in the squad……..player of the tournament Ashleigh Gardner, wicket keeper Alyssa Healy, Megan Schutt and Darcie Brown.
England’s Nat Sciver-Brunt was named captain of the team which also includes Laura Woolvardt of host South Africa who led the tournament in scoring.
The squad is completed by Sophie Ecclestone of England who finished as the highest wicket taker, Richa Gosh of India and the South African pair of Tazmin Brits and Shabnim Ismail.
Orla Predergast of Ireland was named as 12th player after an impressive debut tournament in which she scored 109 runs and took 3 wickets.
