Vending will be prohibited at the Coronation Market next week Monday January 29, through to Thursday February 1.

The 4 day ban was announced today by minister of local government Desmond McKenzie, while touring sections of the market.

He explained that the ban will allow the National Water Commission and the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation to address the sewage problem plaguing the facility.

Mr. McKenzie added that emergency work will begin soon.
