A two-year-old boy was killed in a crash along Fort George road in Annotto Bay, St. Mary last evening.

Dead is Deshawn Bailey of the community.

Police say at about 7:10 PM, Deshawn was travelling in a motorcar along the roadway when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which crashed into an embankment and overturned.

Deshawn and the male driver sustained multiple injuries.

They were taken to hospital, where the child was pronounced dead and the man was treated and released.
