Two men are dead, and another is hospitalized in serious condition, following an incident in Burnside Valley, Red Hills, St. Andrew, on Wednesday morning.

Dead are 20-year-old Tyo Bailey and 21-year-old Quewain Lee, both labourers of the community.

Commanding Officer for the St. Andrew North police division, Superintendent Sherika Service, says police were alerted to loud explosions in Burnside Valley around 9 AM.

A team was dispatched to the location. Upon the team’s arrival, the bodies of the two men were seen on the ground.

Police were later informed that a third man had been transported to hospital with gunshot wounds.

Superintendent Service says investigations so far indicate that the three men had a longstanding dispute that came to a head today.
