Most of the concerns which may arise from the fare increase granted to public transport operators will be experienced starting today.

This, according to president of the Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services, TODSS, Egeton Newman.

Mr Newman says the true test of the system will come this morning when normal operations fully resume, after the heroes weekend.

Mr Newman called on PPV operators not to overcharge passengers, while urging commuters to observe the rates set by the government.
