Public passenger vehicle (PPV) operators who applied for their badges but have not yet completed training, are being urged to contact the Transport Authority immediately.

Untrained operators must contact the Authority’s offices to verify their credentials so they can access the platform and complete the required training to receive the approval to operate.

Managing Director of the Authority, Ralston Smith, is reminding operators that the non-wearing of PPV badges is an offence under the Road Traffic Act.

PPV operators who fail to produce their badges may be prosecuted..
