Title holders Mount Pleasant opens new Wray  and  Nephew  Jamaica  Premier  League season with victory

A  25th    minute  strike  from Gawain  Austin  was  enough  to  give  the  Theodore  Whitmore  conditioned  team  a  1-nil  triumph  over   former  Champions  Portmore  United  at  Drax  Hall.

In  the  opening  game  of  the  Drax  Hall  double-header  newly  promoted  lime  hall  earned their first ever top flight point after playing to a nil-all draw with former champions Montego Bay united.
