Team Jamaica gets mixed results on Day 1 of PALA Sixes Lacrosse Tournament

The Jamaican Women’s team and the two national male teams will be pushing for all -out victories on Friday morning at the Pan American Lacrosse Association Sixes Cup at Mico College. 

This after suffering mixed results, on yesterday’s opening day where Jada Williams netted five times as Jamaica’s women beat the us virgin islands 16-4 in their opening game, before going down 12-8 to Peru in their second match of the day. 

On the men’s side the overseas based Jamaican gold team secured back to back victories , beating Mexico 16-15 before stopping the US Virgin island 19-18. 

However, the local based Jamaica male green team was not as fortunate after losing both their games. 

The green team first lost 15-25 to the Panamanians and then later were edged 16-15 by Brazil. 

later this morning jamaica’s domestic based male green team tackles dominican republic starting at 11. 

Then the Jamaican women will be in action again at a1:30 pm this afternoon against Hau-den-o-shaune.
