Having survived a fire earlier this year, entertainer Tanya Stephens says she continues to grow from the ordeal.

In an Instagram post, the dancehall hitmaker shares that despite losing everything, all she needed to do was survive the fire and make peace with what couldn’t be replaced. Having done so, she writes that it is a big deal, using the opportunity to remind her followers that every challenge faced and beaten is important especially the psychological ones.

Stephens ended her post with an encouragement for anyone feeling pressured ahead of Christmas to talk with friends, as we all need help occasionally.
