Zamunda calls for aid for Hurricane Beryl victims

Following the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, reggae singer Zamunda is calling on fellow entertainers, athletes, the business community, and politicians to help the people of Jamaica.

Currently on his “Jah Love Surround Me” album tour in Europe, Zamunda made an appeal via Instagram Live this morning (July 8), urging those who have gained wealth from the people to extend a helping hand to those in dire need.

Hurricane Beryl has left a trail of devastation across the southern parishes, with St. Elizabeth suffering the most from the Category 4 storm.

Entertainer Shenseea, who grew up in St. Elizabeth, visited the parish on Saturday with Romeich and a team from Romeich Entertainment to deliver care packages to families affected by Hurricane Beryl.

Meanwhile, many Jamaicans are still without electricity and water, and the country’s two main telecommunications networks remain down in some areas.
