Dancehall entertainer Agent Sasco continues his mission to bring awareness about the importance of recycling.
The brand ambassador for Recycling Partners of Jamaica, via his official Instagram account, shared that a pilot project in Friendship Gap, St. Mary, driven by community members, collected over three thousand kilograms of plastic, which generated one hundred and sixty-two thousand dollars for the community.
Agent Sasco shared a pic that captured the handover of the cheque from Recycling Partners of Jamaica to community members and the member of parliament for St. Mary South Eastern, Dr. Norman Dunn. In the caption, the “Winning” Dancehall hitmaker, praised the community stating, “If this can be done in a small rural community, just imagine what’s possible across Jamaica.”
Last year, Agent Sasco officially became a part of the Recycling Partners of Jamaica planning committee, which creates and executes cluster projects.
