World-renowned comedian Oliver Samuels has called out Prime Minister Andrew Holness following the government’s decision to mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
In the 2-minute 48 seconds video captioned, “Stop it Mr. Priminster!”, Oliver Samuels said after 60 years of independence, he’s in total disagreement with the PM’s declaration to mourn the Queen for 12 days in Jamaica.
Mr. Samuels also urged the Prime Minister to be more like Barbados which became the world’s newest republic after officially removing Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state in 2021.
The United Kingdom has declared 10 days of mourning following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II who ruled for more than 70 years.
