Shenseea was moved to tears after her album Never Gets Late Here received a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album.
Shortly after the Recording Academy announced the nominees, Shenseea took to Instagram Live, expressing tears of joy as she shared with fans that this nomination has been a longtime dream come true.
This nomination marks Shenseea’s first solo Grammy recognition. She previously earned a Grammy nomination in 2022 for her contributions to Kanye West’s Donda, which was up for Album of the Year at the 64th Grammy Awards.
Other nominees competing for Best Reggae Album at the 67th Grammy Awards include Party with Me by Vybz Kartel, Evolution by The Wailers, Take It Easy by Collie Buddz, and the soundtrack Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired By the Film.
