Rapper Fat Joe has credited Elephant Man and Jamaica for his 2004 hit ‘Lean Back’ featuring Remy Ma and the Terror Squad.
During a Breakfast Club interview with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, Fat Joe shared how he was inspired to create the dance track.
Dancehall deejay Elephant Man has since reposted the video to his official Instagram account. In the caption he wrote in part, “Di work weh Elephant Man put in can’t be denied.”
For years, some of the biggest international stars including Beyonce, Drake, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj, among countless others have created music, dance, and fashion inspired by Jamaican music and culture.
