Chino McGregor urges entertainers to create music with worldwide appeal

Chino McGregor is encouraging entertainers to choose broad subject matters with a worldwide appeal that the masses can relate to instead of thinking only of Jamaica or what’s happening in a lane.

When asked about the biggest challenges and opportunities for Dancehall and Reggae music, he underscored that “entertainers should not short change the music.”

During his Road to Success interview Thursday (Oct 5) on the Easy Skankin show with Kshema Francis, Chino also highlighted the importance of paying attention to winning formulas and knowing when to adapt.

Chino McGregor, brother of Grammy-winning producer Stephen Di Genius, also revealed that his father, legendary Reggae singer Freddie Mcgreor, who suffered a stroke last year, continues to heal rapidly and is a warrior.

Daniel ‘Chino’ McGregor is a Reggae and Dancehall artist and also a Grammy Award-winning songwriter, and composer.
