Minister Marion Hall was conferred with the Medal of Honour, by the City of Tamarac in Florida.
The Singer who resides in Florida was given the honour as a Trailblazer for Caribbean Heritage Month, for her contributions to the music industry and her impact on Caribbean culture. During the ceremony Hall also announced that she had received her U.S. green card the day before.
The I won’t worry singer later took to social media to share the joyous moment with her fans, posting a picture of herself surrounded by the organizing committee and supporters quoting Proverbs 18:16.
She extended gratitude to Vice Mayor Kicia Daniel and The City of Tamarac for the honour, concluding her post with her popular phrase “To God be the Glory.”
