“Please don’t judge me” – is how upcoming entertainer Valiant is responding after being criticized by government Minister with Responsibility for Information, Robert Morgan, who questioned the state of today’s Dancehall music by asking “When did dunce become fashionable.”
On Saturday (Nov 12), Valiant dropped a teaser of a new song on his official Instagram account. In the short snippet Valiant sings the lines, “Please don’t judge me.”

The criticism from the government minister comes after Valiant sparked controversy with his new song “Dunce Cheque”.
In recent times, Dancehall has been receiving some heavy jabs. The latest being the Broadcasting Commission’s decision to ban songs that promotes scamming, drugs namely molly guns, and criminal activities across radio and television stations.
