Badgyal Cecile and Dancehall heavyweight Bounty Killer have expressed gratitude in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl via their respective Instagram.
Cecile shared via an Instagram story that not having telephone service, was the best thing, as she used the opportunity to play dominoes with her daughter Nana, she said this reminded her to be grateful for things when we have it because sometimes it takes not having it to remember to be grateful.
Meanwhile, Bounty shared a post with a photo of Jamaica’s flag, expressing in part that he was grateful to the Almighty Father for sparing Jamaica. The “Call Him” DJ wrote “Y’all better start love Jah and live” his post continued with a plea for Jamaicans to be grateful, because despite suffering damages and a few displacements from the category four Beryl, the damage was less in comparison to other countries hit by the system.
