The Bellevue Hospital Jamaica’s sole public psychiatric medical institution officially opened its family room, The Wellness Lounge on Monday March 3. A representative from the institution told IRIE FM that Bailey will be recognized later this month with the lounge being named in his honour.

The lounge will serve as a forum to effectively enhance communication between patients and their loved ones.

Bailey kick-started the project with a contribution of five hundred thousand Jamaican dollars through his Foundation.

Last September, Bounty Killer and his manager Paul Giscombe through the Bounty Killer Foundation donated among other items, air-conditioning units and wheelchairs.  

United Kingdom-based Barrister, Suzette Thompson, donated monies which the hospital says was used to purchase a premium USB video-conferencing system as well as furniture to create a home-like setting for the lounge.
