Dancehall heavyweights Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, IRIE FM’s Ainsworth “Big A” Higgins, Nadine Sutherland, and Admiral Bailey are among 150 Jamaicans set to receive National Honours this Monday, October 21, on Heroes Day. 

Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Nadine Sutherland, and Admiral Bailey will be awarded the Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer for their contributions to Jamaican music. 

IRIE FM’s renowned radio personality, Big A, will receive the Badge of Honour for Long and Faithful Service for his lifelong commitment to the Jamaican music scene. 

The National Honours and Awards Ceremony will take place at King’s House on National Heroes Day, October 21.
