The students who were impacted by a fire in Gregory Park, St. Catherine, which left 40 people homeless, will receive assistance from government with back-to-school supplies.

Mr. McKenzie led a tour yesterday of the area where 11 houses were firebombed, and a taxi operator was shot and killed.

Speaking to reporters during the tour, Mr. McKenzie stressed that there is no justification for the incident. He said the residents are traumatized, while describing the incident as an act of terrorism.

Mr. McKenzie also gave an update on the plan to rebuild the homes of those who were impacted.
