ST. Elizabeth: Squall line disrupts power in areas already restored by JPS following disruptions caused by Hurricane Beryl
St. Elizabeth which suffered immense damage during Hurricane Beryl’s passage some three weeks ago, has received another blow following the passage of a squall line yesterday.
Member of Parliament for St. Elizabeth South Western, Floyd Green told IRIE FM news that the system which brought strong winds and rain, resulted in power outages in some areas.
Mr. Green lamented that some outages occurred in sections already restored by the Jamaica Public Service, following disruptions caused by Hurricane Beryl.
He said his team is conducting assessments to determine if the parish experienced any new damage following the squall line.
