St Elizabeth police recover stolen motorcycle and several other items in Pedro Plains
Swift action by the St Elizabeth police led to the recovery of a stolen motorcycle and several other items in Pedro Plains this morning (August 29).
A Toyota Allion motorcar suspected to have been used in the robbery was also seized.
Head of the St. Elizabeth police, Deputy Superintendent Coleridge Minto said the victim was accosted by armed men around 5: 30 AM.
He noted that the victim contacted the police and intelligence led to a premises undergoing construction where the stolen motorcycle was found.
He noted that the vehicles are being processed, which includes them being dusted for prints and other forensic evidence.
Meantime, DSP Minto reiterated the commitment of the police to respond swiftly to incidents, while appealing to citizens to report crimes as quickly as possible.
