St. Andrew-based businessman, Donald Ho, who was linked to a 2013 robbery at a jewellery store in Downtown Kingston was ordered to forfeit the equivalent of more than 23 million Jamaican dollars to the Financial Investigations Division (FID) by the Corporate area parish court.
The robbery had prompted an investigation, which connected Ho to the theft and other illegal activities.
Cash in the sum of J$658,500, US$150,955.00, £71 and CAN$85 was seized during a police operation at Ho’s premises in 2013.
