Sections of the Spanish Town Hospital in St. Catherine were among areas impacted by flooding following heavy rains last evening into this morning.

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) says communities impacted include Gutters, Bushy Park, St. John’s Road and Old Harbour Road.

It says infrastructure damage impacting the bridge at Bushy Park has also been reported.

In light of flooding in these areas, ODPEM is reminding persons to be vigilant and not to attempt to cross flooded waterways.
