Despite Christmas being just two days away, some St. Ann residents say they are not yet feeling the holiday spirit.

Some have cited personal reasons such as increased responsibilities, while for some business operators, the issue is slow sales.

For taxi operator Patrice Allen, she has been too busy to really enjoy the season’s festivities.

Meantime, Jacquiline, who has been selling clothes at the Ocho Rios Market for over 30 years, has expressed concern about her business.

She told IRIE FM News that sales have declined compared to previous Christmas holidays.

However, food vendor Damian said he has no concern about sales.

He said so far, shoppers have been turning out in their numbers and supporting his business.
