Simply the best !

Those were the words used to describe five-time world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce by euro-sport expert Ewan Thomas.

It comes after she clocked a season-best 10.77 to finish third in the women’s 100 metre event at the ongoing world athletics championship in Budapest.

By winning bronze, Fraser-Pryce further boosted her collection of world championship medals to 15…..a feat that saw her move one ahead of Usain Bolt to become the most successful Jamaican athlete in the history of the World Outdoor Athletics Championships.

In paying tribute…..Thomas a former British sprinter and world and European Champion … .. ..said for him…..Fraser-Pryce is number one.

With 15 medals…10 of which are gold…..Fraser-Pryce now sits second on the all-time list behind the American Allyson Felix, who leads the standings with 20 medals. 

*Usain Bolt, Meanwhile is third having won 14….including 11 gold.
