Minister of National Security and Peace, Dr. Horace Chang has condemned the murder of the two police officers who were shot and killed in the line of duty last evening.

Constables Charles Stewart and Jemarey Gordon were killed at a popular car wash along Waltham Park Road.

Dr. Chang says the assault on police officers is an attack on the very foundations of law, order, and public safety.

He said the officers were carrying out their sworn duty to protect and serve, and the criminals who targeted them have shown a shocking disregard for human life and for the rule of law.

Dr. Chang Stated that the authorities will not relent, as those who attack its officers must know that the full weight of the state will come after them.

The Minister is urging anyone with information to come forward and share it with the police so that they may apprehend the criminals behind this heinous act.
