Road Safety Council urging more people to help spread messages about road safety, as part of efforts to reduce fatalities

The National Road Safety Council (NRSC) is urging more people to help spread messages about road safety, as part of efforts to reduce the number of deaths among motorcyclists.

Vice Chairman of the council, Dr. Lucien Jones underscores the need for everyone to join the efforts, with the hope that lives can be saved.

Three people died last evening, after two motorbikes crashed into a truck in Westmoreland.

Dr Jones notes that many of the accidents are caused by the actions of the motorcyclists.

Dr Jones indicates that there is still cause for concern despite the decrease in the number of fatalities, compared to the corresponding period last year.
