Richard King called up to Senior Reggae Boys squad
The Cavalier defensive duo of Richard King and Kyle Ming have been called into the national squad in Trinidad for Sunday’s Concacaf Nations League group B’ encounter against Haiti at the Haseley Crawford Stadium.
King and Ming along with Jashaun Anglin of Harbour View will be traveling today to join the reggae boys squad which arrived earlier this morning in the Twin Island Republic following their 4-1 triumph over Grenada last evening at the Kirani James Stadium to progress to the quarter-finals of league A’.
Romario Williams, Shamar Nicholson, Demarai Grey and Bobby Reid were on the scoresheet for Jamaica.
For Nicholson it was his 5th in nations league to move to the top of the table with the most goals for Jamaica in the competition.
Jamaica leads group B’ of league A with 7 points – two ahead of Cuba who played to a goalless draw yesterday with Honduras who are on 4 points.
Haiti follows on three points after ending 1-1 yesterday with Suriname, who are now on 2 points, with Grenada still at the bottom of the group on one point.
