Reggae girlz forward Paige Bailey-Gayle has joined English Women’s National league outfit Newcastle United from rivals Crystal Palace. 

The acquisition which was announced today is part of the magpies quest to strengthen their chances of gaining promotion to the Women’s Super league.

Bailey-Gayle who came through the arsenal youth system and made her gunners debut in 2018, also played for Leicester City women before moving to palace in 2022. 

The 22 year old ……at the international level….was part of the reggae girlz team that created history by advancing to the round of 16 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup…..in the process becoming the first World Cup participant from Crystal Palace. 

Newcastle women in the meantime currently lead the F.A Women’s League, North Premier Division standings with 31 points.
