Executive Director of the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) Audley Gordon says protocols have been activated to offer emotional support to staff members affected by this morning’s shooting incident at the entrance of its Spanish Town Road facility.

A mother and daughter were killed some time after 5 A.M.

Mr. Gordon told IRIE FM news that the incident has affected staff members but steps are being made to offer psychological assistance.

He also warned citizens that there might be delays in the services of the NSWMA, due to police investigations at the facility following the incident.
