Prime Minister charges councillor candidates to give Jamaicans hope
As the country anticipates the Local Government Election, Prime Minister Andrew Holness has urged Jamaica Labour Party candidates to give citizens hope.
He said the Party’s message is building people and communities.
Mr Holness gave the charge at the Party’s Area Council One meeting yesterday where the candidates were confirmed.
The Local Government Elections are due by next month.
The JLP leader encouraged candidates to engage the people.
He said while there is frustration and suffering among citizens his administration will continue to improve the country.
