Police urge motorists to adhere to speed limits

Head of the Constabulary’s Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Gary McKenzie is urging the nation’s motorists to adhere to speed limits.

This as the country continues to see a number of road crashes caused by speeding.

As at yesterday, September 18, 290 lives have been lost to road crashes.

ACP McKenzie notes that the police are aware some motorists are using technology to track speed limit enforcement operations, but he stresses that this practice should not be encouraged.
