Police are investigating a double murder and the wounding of another person in Burnt Savanna, Frome, Westmoreland yesterday.

Dead are Damion Powell otherwise called ‘Donkey Knee’ and Collin Daley otherwise called ‘Reds’ and ‘Birdy’.

Reports are that about 9:00 p.m., Powell and Daley were at a bar among a group of men playing dominoes, when two armed men on a motorcycle pounced upon them. 

The armed men opened gunfire at the group of men before escaping on the  motorcycle in the area.

When the shooting subsided, Powell, Daley and another man were seen suffering from gunshot wounds.

All wounded persons were taken to the hospital where Powell and Daley were pronounced dead.

The wounded man is being treated.
