A total of 35 Haitians have been accounted for after they landed in a boat in Long Bay, Portland yesterday (October 15).
Reports are that the Haitians landed on the beach at about 4:50 PM.
The group includes 27 adult males, three adult females, four female children and one male child.
They were taken to the Port Antonio Health Centre for medical care and observation.
This is the third set of Haitians to arrive in Portland in recent months.
The second group was returned to their country by Jamaican authorities.
However, an asylum request from the first group is being processed by the government.
