The People’s National Party (PNP) says it has acknowledged with grave concern the recent developments regarding the death of Melissa Silvera, the wife of former PNP Member of Parliament, Jolyan Silvera.

It is reported that Mrs Silvera died on November 10.

The circumstances around her death are being investigated.

In a press release Monday evening, the PNP said it firmly believes in the rule of law and supports the ongoing investigation to ascertain the truth behind Mrs Silvera’s death.

It said at this time, it is imperative to allow the authorities to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter.
