PM says NWA should move with alacrity in ensuring completion of road works in St. Thomas
Prime Minister Andrew Holness has charged the National Works Agency (NWA) to move with alacrity in ensuring the completion of road works in St. Thomas.
Speaking at a social housing handing-over ceremony in Albion Meadows in Yallahs today (April 28), Mr. Holness acknowledged the concern of residents about the temporary discomfort caused by the highway project.
He pointed to the incorrect notion many people have that if a project does not take long, it’s not done properly, adding that this cultural practice should be discontinued.
The Prime Minister called on the NWA and the contractors to build faster, while maintaining good standards.
