PM Holness reiterates measures being taken to make home ownership more affordable
Prime Minister Andrew Holness has reiterated that measures are being taken to make home ownership more affordable.
These measures include reducing the average selling price for housing units, and providing higher subsidies to selected persons, purchasing a home through the National Housing Trust .
He said efforts continue in the bid to facilitate affordable mortgages.
Mr Holness acknowledged the need to provide even greater subsides to low-income earners, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable persons.
He was speaking during a housing handing over ceremony in Roseneath park, Old
Harbour, St.catherine recently.
